ChinaJoy, Shanghai has brought New Contracts to StarForce
Mr. Alexander Mamaev, Managing Director of StarForce Technologies (Asia Pacific) attended the China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference (ChinaJoy) to meet the company’s partners and potential clients. The negotiations have enriched StarForce’s list of clients with a number of names famous in the Asian electronic entertainment industry.
ChinaJoy, Shanghai has maintained the tradition of the famous gaming shows - following the E3 in U.S., the Tokyo Game Show in Japan and the ECTS in Europe, it has become a great event of the Chinese game industry. It is meant to strengthen domestic game supervision in China, actively regulate the Chinese market, and rigorously fight against piracy.
Though many of the top game software developers and publishers had been StarForce’s clients for a while (e.g. Atari (Taiwan), UbiSoft (China), UniStar, GameStar, etc. have already used StarForce for their titles protection), they expressed their strongest interest in StarForce’s new software protection technologies, which Alexander Mamaev has presented during the ChanaJoy.
At present StarForce’s list of clients includes more than fifty local publishers. More and more publishers from all over China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia use software protection for their products. "ChinaJoy has made a good input to expand our list of clients," – says Mr. Alexander Mamaev.
