StarForce’s arrival to the Games Convention 2008
StarForce Technologies has attended the biggest gaming fair of the Old World - the Games Convention 2008.
Starting from the 21st of August to the 24th the city of Leipzig, Germany opened up their doors for guests and visitors for the most major gaming and computer entertainment event of the year – the Games Convention 2008. A total of 547 companies from all over the world have graced the convention with their presence by placing their expositions on a 155 thousand square meter ground of the Leipzig Fair Center. Over 200 thousand people have attended the fair.
With an opportunity to use the StarForce’s newest Protection Studio 2.0 implementation program our specialists were able to perform live demonstrations. During this 4 day period, the StarForce qualified experts have performed these demos more than 40 times. The visitors whom happened to stop by the StarForce’s stand were able to actually experience the protection with their own eyes and convince themselves of the power of simplicity and quickness the technology puts forward.
Today while the PC gaming industry is primarily aimed towards applying digital distribution, StarForce’s FrontLine Universal product and DiscFree Technology came out to be the most attractive solution. Following the protection implementation demos each visitor had the chance and was able to take a sample of a complete protected disc with a program that could be launched by using the disc check or an Internet activation.
“We are pretty delightful with the outcome of the event and consider the passed fair as successful one, - states Gurminder Sachdev, StarForce’s International sales and business development director, - For the first time being we’ve shown the simplicity, scalability and reliability of our protection solution.”
