Update 2018.1 Released for StarForce Protection Systems

StarForce Technologies, the leading developer of software solutions to protect programs and digital information against leakage, copying and illegal distribution, has released the first update in 2018 for the StarForce products.
The most important changes are the following:
| 1 | StarForce Reader, an app to view protected documents, has the long-awaited feature for Windows and macOS - creating notes. Now users can add comments in the text and navigate them within the document. To get this function just update StarForce Reader to the current version. Also, the update makes it possible to rotate pages and set an arbitrary zoom level of the document. |
| 2 | The function of periodic license confirmation was added to StarForce ProActive for Business. It allows to remotely monitor applications that are bound to the local server including adding the serial number to the blacklist or changing the number of workplaces. |
| 3 | Also StarForce SDK now have a new function that allows software developers to insert information about the license and its parameters into the protected application and use it to automatically identity while logging in a personal account located in the cloud. |
| 4 | Now source code protection from analysis and reverse engineering can be performed on devices running macOS. StarForce C++ Obfuscator is available for launch under Wine. |
| 5 | The functionality of the questioning in the StarForce Audio/Video player was improved, now a question cannot be missed without inputting the correct answer, which also increases the protection from video capturing with an external camera. Also we improved protection against screen grabbers – a few new were added. |
