StarForce Technologies announces new “user-transparent” copy protection

27.01.2004

StarForce Technologies is proud to announce StarForce Keyless, our newest innovation offered to the software production industry.  Our customers spoke, and we listened. StarForce Keyless was designed to streamline protected CD-ROM/DVD-ROM manufacturing and to make the protected game or application as invisible as possible to end-users.

The new manufacturing process allows publishers to distribute a keyless, protected disc.  It will save them time during production and also reduce costs because they won’t have to print labels or stickers for  CD packaging, or manage support calls when customers misplace disc keys. The new system will make end-users happy since they no longer have to manually input a key to unlock the protection every time they want to install the application.

The technology has the same durability of existing StarForce tools against copying, emulating and cracking and is provided at no cost to replication facilities and software publishers as a new feature of StarForce Professional 3.0 and Basic Edition 3.0 copy protection systems.
