HIP Europe announces the pan european release of "The Mummy" a new action/adventure game based on "The Mummy: The Animated Series".

The story takes place in the 1930s, and features the O'Connell family - Rick, the brave adventurer, along with famed archaeologist Evy and their son Alex - as they travel the globe in a quest to clear up ancient riddles.

During a trip to Egypt however, an event occurred that would forever change their destiny. The all-powerful Manacle of Osiris accidentally locks onto Alex's wrist. The O'Connell family has no choice but to set off on a search for the sacred Scrolls of Thebes, as these represent the only way of freeing the young man.

However, Imhotep also lusts after these sacred texts, for having them in his possession would give him full powers. Imhotep, with his army of demons, could attain his dream of dominating the world and ruling over modern civilizations.

"The Mummy" videogame gives a player a fabulous trip around the world, filled with discoveries, exploration and new developments.
