StarForce FrontLine MMOG has been entirely localized to Korean language
On the 18th of January 2009 FrontLine MMOG product intended for protection of MMO games against bots, cheating and hacking has been completely localized to Korean language.
While exhibiting in the biggest Korean games exhibition G-Star 2009 StarForce’s representatives noted enormous interest of Korean game developers towards the newest company’s product – FrontLine MMOG. This product aims at protection of massive multiplayer online games against dishonest methods of play like cheating and hacking.
Actualizing agreements that have been reached during the exhibition FrontLine MMOG has been fully localized to Korean language for its more comfortable utilization by Korean developers. Moreover, a special Korean support department has been established.
«Taking into consideration the fact that Korea is, say, Mecca of online games we made a decision to translate all the software and documents used for FL MMOG implementation to Korean language», - said Michael Kalinichenko, StarForce’s CEO, - «Korean developers use non-localized programs with reluctance, that is why localization of the whole product and documentation was the main condition to start full-scale work in this country. Making the decision we were also guided by the wishes if Western games companies that localized Korean games on their markets. Many of them wish to have FrontLine MMOG. But the fact that it is need to have access to game’s source code for FL MMOG implementation was the certain barrier».
